The Anesthesia
How we classified the patients with a higher anaesthetic risk?
In anaesthesia (usually) we use an universally accepted classification promulgated by the American Society of Anesthesiologists, known as the ASA. There are 6 levels of risk within this classification based on the history and clinical condition of the patient, and we can add an E to the digit to sign the added risk of conducting the surgery in an Emergency situation
